See and Learn Programmes
See and Learn includes a range of programmes - each
specifically focusing on promoting a particular area of development.
The four See and Learn programmes currently under development or planned
are:
- See and Learn Language and Reading -
a programme of activities designed to help children with Down syndrome learn to
talk and read, from learning their first words to reading and using short sentences.
The first steps in the
See and Learn Language and Reading
programme are now available for free online and are on sale
at the DownsEd Online shop...
- See and Learn Numbers - a programme of activities
designed to help children with Down syndrome develop their numeracy and mathematics
skills. This programme is not currently available - we are currently seeking funding
to enable publication.
- See and Learn Memory - a programme of activities
designed to help children with Down syndrome develop their memory skills. This programme
is not currently available - we are currently seeking funding to enable publication.
- See and Learn Speech - a programme of activities
designed to help children with Down syndrome develop their speech skills. This programme
is not currently available - we are currently seeking funding to enable publication.
Free to use
See and Learn is provided free of charge online by
Down Syndrome Education International. Printed versions of the See and Learn
materials are available to purchase
at the DownsEd Online shop...
