Using the record sheets
Session record sheet
Use the First Word Pictures session record sheet to keep an overall record of sessions and
progress through the See and Learn First Word Pictures
activities. Each time your child completes a session, use this sheet to make
a note of the date, the activity or activities you have practised and the words
you used.
Activity record sheets
Each activity also has its own record sheet to help you keep a detailed record of
your child's progress through the activity and to plan which words
to use in the next session.
The Naming First Word Pictures record sheet
also provides an opportunity to record when your child has begun to say or sign
any of the extra words used in the activities that are not illustrated
on the picture cards, and any other words he/she has learned.
