See and Learn Saying Words 1 Settings (iPad App)

Settings for each activity can be accessed from the main menu screen.

To access settings, tap the Settings button on the main menu screen.

The app settings will be presented (Figure 1).

General settings

Language to display/prompt

Select the language you wish to use for the activities from the list displayed when you tap on the language name (Figure 1).

Learning to Say Words settings

Play voice when new card presented

Turn this option on to play a voice recording as soon as each new card is presented.

Play voice when card tapped

Turn this option on to play a voice recording as soon whenever a card is tapped or clicked.

Play applause at end of exercises

Turn this option on to enable the playing of applause at the end of each exercise. This is started by tapping or clicking the tick symbol.

Practising Saying Words settings

Shuffle cards

Turn this option on to shuffle the selected set of cards at the beginning of each exercise.

Play voice when card tapped

Turn this option on to play a voice recording as soon whenever a card is tapped or clicked.

Play applause at end of exercises

Turn this option on to enable the playing of applause at the end of each exercise. This is started by tapping or clicking the tick symbol.

Rehearsing Saying Words settings

Target repetitions

Select the number of repetitions you wish the child to target. This sets the number of circles displayed at the bottom of the Rehearsing Saying Words settings screen.

Shuffle cards

Turn this option on to shuffle the selected cards at the beginning of each exercise.

Play voice when card tapped

Turn this option on to play a voice recording as soon whenever a card is tapped or clicked.

Play applause at end of exercises

Turn this option on to enable the playing of applause at the end of each exercise. This is started by tapping or clicking the tick symbol.
