See and Learn apps

See and Learn apps are designed to help parents and educators teach early speech, language, reading, number and memory skills using a variety of computer and tablet devices.

See and Learn apps offer an engaging and motivating way to present teaching activities. Computer devices offer a flexible platform for presenting information clearly, responding to a child's actions, rewarding success and tracking progress.

See and Learn apps are designed to present visual and auditory information clearly and without unnecessary distractions, and to support learning in small steps with regular practice.

Complete See and Learn steps in each app

The See and Learn apps include computer-based versions of the same activities as those provided in See and Learn kits. The apps also include the same guidance and resources for record keeping.

Combining apps and kits

Because the apps present the same activities as the kits, they can be easily used together - for example, where a nursery or school uses printed materials in class and a family uses app editions at home.

Initially, we plan to support the following platforms and devices:

  • Android tablets running Android 5.0 or later.
  • Apple iPads running iOS version 9.0 or later.
